About ClanGen

ClanGen is a non-profit simulation game inspired by Erin Hunter's popular Warriors series of novels. The game allows you to create and run a Cat Clan - from building initial members, assigning roles (warrior, medic, leader...) to observing and influencing the development of each individual in the clan over time.

Controls:

• View cat information: Left click on the cat name
• Create a new Clan: Main Menu → Select "New Game"
• Send cat on patrol: Territory Tab → Select cat → Click “Send Patrol”
• Advance to next season: Click the “Next Moon” button (bottom or right corner of interface)
• Review past events: Events Tab
• Rename cat or clan: Click on cat/clan → Edit icon

Game Tips:

• Keep track of relationships: Don't let cats hate each other in the same patrol - it can cause failure or conflict.
• Choose a good healer: Healer cats play an extremely important role - they heal wounds and receive omens from StarClan.
• Be careful with aggressive cats: They can attack their clan or cause trouble while patrolling.
• Always have a succession plan: When the leader dies, the deputy cat will take over - make sure they are competent.
