About Don't Splash

There is a simple rule in Don't Splash: keep your feet out of the water. It sounds easy until a room forces players to cross a pool with barely enough dry ground to stand on. Worse, something is listening. The creature roaming these strange indoor swimming areas cannot see its surroundings, but it has an excellent sense of hearing. One splash is enough to give away a hiding place.

The journey is not just about reaching the other side. Players have to search for a way through each room, activate valves, operate machinery, and locate the exit without attracting unwanted attention. Some jumps look safe until the landing goes wrong. Others require a little patience rather than a running start. Learning the layout before moving can make a noticeable difference.

Turn the Pool Into a Distraction

The monster follows sound, which means players can use noise to their advantage. A thrown bottle, stone, or pebble can send it investigating a different part of the pool. That brief opening might be all the time needed to cross a dangerous section. Throwing upgrades make this trick more useful, especially when the creature is difficult to lure away.

Choose How Much Trouble to Take On

Don't Splash works for one player or a group of up to four. Easy mode gives players more room to move, while Normal introduces larger rooms and trickier routes. Hard mode is unlocked by finishing Normal twice and offers the biggest coin rewards.

Collected coins can improve several useful abilities, including rope reach, rescue speed, flare radius, toy battery, pebble skipping, and throwing range. There is no single upgrade that solves every problem, so players can spend their rewards on whatever makes their next attempt easier.

Every Room Has Its Own Little Problem

The fun comes from figuring out how to get past a situation without making it worse. Sometimes a distraction works perfectly. Sometimes the safest choice is to wait and watch. Don't Splash makes silence feel like an important part of the adventure, and that is what gives its poolroom puzzles their tension.
