Basketball Bros IO, aka Basketball Bros, takes a simple game of one-on-one basketball and adds a lot of chaos. You can shoot, steal, dunk, shove, and even punch your opponent. The funny physics make things even less predictable, especially when a hard hit sends a player flying across the court.
Four Quarters, One Minute Each
Every game has four quarters, with one minute per quarter. There is not much time to recover from a bad play, so players have to make quick decisions. The match ends when someone reaches 15 points, which can happen surprisingly fast if one player finds a good rhythm.
Three Shots Can Change Everything
Scoring three baskets in a row activates the Burning Fire buff. Your character gets a noticeable boost to movement speed and shooting accuracy. If you are behind on the scoreboard, putting together three successful shots can suddenly give you a chance to catch up.
33 Players to Try
The roster includes 33 different characters, each based loosely on well-known basketball legends. They do not all play the same way. Some are useful around the rim and can make impressive dunks, while others are better choices when you prefer shooting from distance.
Play Alone or Bring a Friend
The 17-match campaign gives solo players a cup to work toward. There are also online private rooms, invitation codes, and local two-player matches. If you just want to practice shooting before playing someone else, the shooting practice mode gives you a place to work on your timing.
Basketball Bros IO does not try to be a realistic basketball simulator. It is fast, silly, physical, and built around those moments when a normal play suddenly turns into complete chaos.
