Meowdoku may look like a cozy puzzle game full of friendly cats, but every level asks you to slow down and think. There are no numbers to fill in and no pieces to drag around. Your job is to figure out where each cat belongs by following a small set of rules. It starts simple, yet before long you'll find yourself studying the board for that one clue you almost missed.
Start With the Colored Areas
The board is divided into colorful sections, and each section can hold only one cat. Some regions are tiny, while others stretch across several squares, so size alone never tells you the answer. Instead, look at how each area connects with the rest of the board and narrow the possibilities one step at a time.
Keep the Cats Apart
The cats are not very friendly with one another. Two cats cannot share the same row or the same column, and they won't tolerate diagonal neighbors either. One placement can rule out several other spaces, which is why it's often better to pause and check the whole board before making another move.
Cross Out Impossible Choices
A useful habit is marking squares that cannot contain a cat. Filling the board with X marks makes hidden patterns easier to spot and helps prevent careless mistakes. Since wrong placements cost hearts, rushing usually creates more problems than it solves.
As you unlock higher levels, the grids become larger, and the puzzles demand more attention. Even so, every solution can be reached through logic alone. Meowdoku rewards careful observation, making each completed board feel satisfying because you solved it with patience instead of luck.
