About Pakemasteroids!
Pakemasteroids! is a 4KB minimalist arcade game developed by solo developer 7z23 in 2023. It is heavily inspired by the classic arcade game Asteroids, but with a twist: the player's ship is replaced by a cardboard box, and the asteroids are replaced by...packages!
The goal of the game is simple: to survive as long as possible by dodging and destroying packages. The player controls the cardboard box with the arrow keys, and can shoot by pressing the spacebar. The packages come in different sizes and speeds, and some of them even explode if shot, so the player has to be careful.
The game is surprisingly challenging, even for experienced gamers. The controls are simple, but it takes practice to master the art of dodging and shooting. The game also gets progressively harder as the player progresses, with more and more packages appearing on the screen.
Despite its simple graphics and gameplay, Pakemasteroids! is a surprisingly addictive game. It's the perfect game to pick up and play for a few minutes when you have some time to kill.
