Letter Boxed
About Letter Boxed
Letter Boxed turns a simple square into a word puzzle challenge. Each side of the square holds three letters, and your mission is to link them together into words that eventually use every letter around the box.
How to play
Words must be at least three letters long.
Two consecutive letters cannot be selected from the same side.
The final letter in one word becomes the initial letter in the subsequent word.
Keep going until every letter in the box has been used at least once.
Example Chain
Take the letters from the sample square above. A possible solution might look like this:
WORD → DOSE → ELM → MINT → TRY → YON → SHRINK
Every jump obeys the rules: no consecutive letters from the same side, the chain carries through the last-to-first rule, and all letters eventually make an appearance.
Strategy Tips
Corners Count: Corner letters are powerful since they connect two sides. Use them often to bridge difficult gaps.
Plan Ahead: Before settling on the first word, scan for letters that look harder to place and think about how you’ll fit them in.
Balance Short and Long Words: Sometimes a quick three-letter word helps you pivot toward using an awkward letter; other times, a longer word clears multiple letters at once.
