Galaga is a fixed shooter arcade video game developed and published by Namco in 1981. It is the sequel to Galaxian, Namco's first major video game hit in arcades. Galaga was one of the most popular arcade games of the 1980s, and it has since been ported to numerous home consoles and mobile devices.
Gameplay
In Galaga, the player controls a lone spaceship that defends the Earth from waves of alien invaders. The player's spaceship is located at the bottom of the screen, and the aliens descend from the top of the screen in formations. The player can move their spaceship left and right, and they can fire a single shot at a time. The goal of the game is to destroy all of the aliens and advance to the next stage.
