Snaketris
About Snaketris
Snaketris is a unique puzzle game that combines the classic gameplay of Snake and Tetris. In this game, you control a snake that grows as it eats food. However, instead of a traditional playing field, the game takes place within a Tetris grid.
Core Features
Snake Growth: As in the traditional Snake game, the snake grows longer as it "eats" food. However, the Tetris blocks provide a unique challenge by blocking the snake's movement or forcing it to change direction.
Tetris Block Placement: Falling Tetris blocks can land in the snake’s path, and the player must use strategic thinking to clear them by rotating and placing them in a way that doesn’t trap the snake or prevent its movement.
Puzzle Elements: The player must think on their feet, not only avoiding obstacles but also managing the puzzle aspect of arranging the Tetris blocks. The game requires both quick reflexes and puzzle-solving skills.
How to play Snaketris
- Snake Movement: You control the snake's direction using arrow keys or WASD. The snake moves continuously, and you must guide it to eat food pellets scattered throughout the grid.
- Tetris Blocks: As you play, Tetris blocks fall from the top of the screen, similar to the original Tetris game. You must strategically guide the snake to avoid colliding with these blocks.
- Growth and Rotation: Every time the snake eats a food pellet, it grows in length. This adds to the challenge as the snake becomes longer and more difficult to maneuver. You can also rotate the Tetris blocks to create more favorable positions for the snake.
- Game Over: The game ends if the snake collides with itself, the walls of the grid, or a Tetris block.
